The Progress has been the Moapa Valley’s community news voice since 1987. It is the longest-running newspaper in Northeast Clark County. We pride ourselves on being an independently owned local news source. The Progress is owned by a partnership company made up of residents who have ancestral ties to the Moapa Valley community going back more than a century. Articles in The Progress are written and edited by residents. The Progress is committed to retaining a local small-town feel by keeping its news coverage focused on the community, and by making the newspaper highly accessible to its residents.

The Progress is an 11 1/4″ x 22″ five-column tabloid newspaper printed weekly every Wednesday. All of our weekly content is also available on our website at mvprogress.com The primary distribution area for The Progress includes the greater Moapa Valley area including the communities of Overton, Logandale, Moapa, Glendale, Warm Springs, Overton Beach, Echo Bay, and the Paiute Indian Reservation.
