Colusa County Campus of Woodland Community College

In 2006, the Yuba Community College District (YCCD) conducted a comprehensive survey to identify the highest priorities for higher education services among district residents. The results revealed that 83.8% of respondents favored developing facilities that would offer college coursework closer to home. Additionally, 53.6% supported constructing a new classroom facility in Colusa County. Responding to this community feedback, the YCCD Board of Trustees placed Measure "J" on the ballot. This measure proposed a $190 million facilities bond aimed at renovating existing facilities and building new ones across the district. Voters approved Measure J in November 2006. In line with the strong community support, the District built the new Colusa County Outreach Facility in Williams to serve the Colusa County community and surrounding areas.
