Retiring from the Army, uncertainty loomed until fate introduced us to Brad Williams, a stalwart figure from San Saba, TX. Through his invitation to join the San Saba Chapter of Texas Hunters for Heroes, our trajectory shifted. The organization's mission, to reconnect disabled veterans with nature through hunting and fishing, left an indelible mark on us. That single outing, surrounded by fellow veterans and the tranquility of the outdoors, set our course anew. To all involved, our heartfelt gratitude knows no bounds.
From these humble roots grew San Saba Sauces, a culinary endeavor with a noble purpose. To support Hunters for Heroes, Brad and his partner Bob embarked on bottling up a cherished family BBQ sauce recipe, which soon expanded to include Black Iron BBQ Sauce and Poppy's Pepper Sauce.
