About Idaho Plant Doctor LLC
Sierra Laverty is a Plant Health Consultant with a BS in Horticulture from Oregon State University, where she studied soil health, entomology, and plant pathology. Sierra is now a Masters in Entomology Candidate. She is one of only 40 Idaho Nursery & Landscape Association certified plant diagnosticians and is a PNW certified crop consultant.
As an assistant horticulture director and adult education specialist at the Idaho Botanical Garden, Sierra oversaw the health of 15+ acres of valuable plant collections and taught hundreds of residents about plant care and maintenance.
Sierra has worked as an agriculture and horticulture specialist in Oregon, Washington, New Zealand, and Australia. As a 7th generation Idahoan, shes proud to celebrate Idaho landscapes and native species.
