2021 marks The Brazosport Area Chamber of Commerce’s 76th Anniversary.
Formed in January of 1945, the Chamber’s purpose is to create a positive business environment. It is a catalyst for business energy focused on creating sustainable economic growth and improving the area’s quality of life. The Chamber is people-driven and is the engine that provides a strong, stable business environment for our entire area.
The Chamber’s 2021 Strategic Plan offers a very diverse and varied list of committees addressing important community issues with an emphasis on economic development. The Chamber is the center of influence for a prosperous community.
The Chamber’s tourism division, The Brazosport Convention & Visitors Council, promotes the entire area as a family and convention destination.
Our area’s excellent quality of life, economic diversity, and cultural and recreational opportunities make it the destination where businesses want to locate and people desire to live.
