Our MISSION is to protect the public from hazardous conditions related to construction and to increase energy efficiency through education and enforcement of The state of Idaho's adopted building codes.
The Nampa Building Department strives to provide timely plan reviews and responsive inspection services within the City of Nampa city limits through the enforcement of State adopted building codes for the health, safety, and welfare of citizens of the community. Permits are required before performing any new construction, building addition, alteration, or repair of existing buildings and structures; including all plumbing, electrical, or mechanical work.
