Hundreds of thousands of medical tests are performed each year by certified medical technologists and lab assistants who are highly skilled in such disciplines as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, histology, toxicology, immunology, and blood banking, and serve under the direction of the hospital’s pathologists.

Halifax Health Medical Center and Halifax Health | UF Health Medical Center of Deltona laboratory is committed to accuracy and efficiency in providing test results for its patients and offers both hospital inpatient and outpatient services with extended hours to fit busy schedules. Most testing is performed daily, with results available to physicians the same day.
