The Fellowship Team at Mesquite United Methodist Church, led by Karen Weigand and Debbie Fjeld, plays a vital role in fostering community and hospitality within our congregation. Following each church service, they host a time of casual visiting with beverages and snacks, providing a welcoming space for fellowship and connection. The team also coordinates special events such as Thanksgiving dinners, memorial lunches, and church gatherings. Annually, they organize enjoyable community events like the church Fall Picnic and Spring Fling potluck, bringing members together in celebration and camaraderie. Comprising dedicated individuals including Sue Taylor, Gale Pallissard, Gregg Shaver, Margie Shaver, Rachel Thompson, Blanche Gleason, Betty Gregg, Connie Jeffers, Kathy Cho, Peg Leininger, and Krista Leininger, the Fellowship Team exemplifies the spirit of hospitality and warmth that defines our church community.
