Boston Coffeehouse's triumph isn't a stroke of luck. It sprang from the vision of Joe Valente, a Bostonian and Boston University alumnus with an M.A. in City Planning. In 1996, captivated by DeLand, Florida's quaint southern allure, he relocated to work for the City of DeLand. Recognizing a void for quality coffee and sandwiches, Joe embarked on a journey. From the ground up, he transformed an antiquated structure, giving rise to the inaugural Boston Coffeehouse.

The preamble of the Boston Coffeehouse:

We, the connoisseurs of fine coffee and delectable cuisine, unite to create perfection and uphold excellence. In pursuit of communal delight and serenity for our patrons, we hereby decree and uphold this commitment to our community.
